Behzad Khosravi Noori is an artist, filmmaker, writer, educator and concept-maker based in Stockholm. His practice inhabits the unstable territory between historical evidence and artistic speculation. Working with archives, moving images, objects and collective pedagogies, he investigates what remained possible within what happened.

His projects return to interrupted histories, displaced objects, minor lives and failed internationalisms as sites where unrealised futures might still be perceived. His doctoral research, Three or Four Ir/relevant Stories: Art and Hyper-Politics (2021), developed hyper-politics as a way of thinking about political claustrophobia and the absorption of singular histories into dominant antagonisms. This research led to Contemporary Ar(t)chaeology, necromancy and Brieftopia: distinct but connected approaches to incomplete histories and interrupted futurity.

Noori works through film, animation, installation, writing, curatorial practice and socially engaged education. His projects do not treat speculation as a substitute for evidence. Instead, they test what artistic construction can make perceptible while keeping the difference between historical fact, inference and artistic proposition visible. Two questions recur throughout the work: Can art save us? What happens to art when it crosses borders?
